Shippings & Returns

We aim to process and dispatch our orders within 24 hours of receiving them. Tracking numbers, if applicable, are included in dispatch confirmation emails.

All orders in Australia will be sent via Australia Post's Courier Service. This will be a fully tracked service provided by Australia Post. Tracking details will be in dispatch confirmation emails.

Free Shipping – All orders are entitled to free shipping on orders over $50. Parcels will be sent via registered post with signature on delivery and extra cover.

International Shipping - All International orders are entitled to free shipping on orders over $50. Parcels will be sent by DHL with insurance.

After placing an order with Newtype the process is as follows:

  • You shall receive an initial confirmation email that your order has been received and is being packed.
  • When the goods are dispatched, you shall receive an email confirming your delivery has been successfully shipped.
  • Goods shall be packaged in a discreet manner which shall prevent product damage during transport.
  • Goods ordered prior to 3.00pm Eastern Australia time shall be dispatched the same business day.

Once your item is shipped, you will receive an email from us advising you that it has been dispatched. If you have chosen the registered post, you will receive a tracking number which can be found in your Order History in your Member Zone. To track your order, simply visit Australia Post and enter the tracking ID that has been provided to track how your parcel is going. If your delivery seems to be taking too long please email us and we will sort it out for you immediately.

International Shipping - International customers would be able to track their orders by visiting DHL. To track your order, simply enter the tracking ID that has been provided to you by email. If your delivery seems to be taking too long please email us and we will sort it out for you immediately.

Newtype Returns Policy

Want to return? Don't worry; ship the item back to us within 14 days and we'll simply provide you a refund or an exchange.

You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from Newtype if the item is:

(a) Faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or
(b) not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or
(c) not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would,

Change of Mind Policy

Newtype is not legally obliged to give refunds of the purchase price on items, or exchange them, simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.

However, under our own Newtype 'Change of Mind Policy', if you simply change your mind we do offer a refund, exchange of value equivalent to the purchase price for most items provided that:

(a) Return must be made within 14 days from the delivery date
(b) All merchandise must be unwashed and unworn with the original hangtags attached
(c) Proof of payment must accompany the return
(d) Sale merchandise will only be exchanged, not refunded.

If you’d like to return your item, please email us with your Name, Order ID, & Billing Email Address. We’ll refund you within seven business days of receiving your package and send you an email when this transaction has taken place
